CompuCycle's Data Destruction Processes

How do you handle data destruction?

We offer two primary methods:

  1. NIST 800-88 Compliant Wiping: NIST 800-88 (Guidelines for Media Sanitization) is the leading U.S. standard providing methods for securely removing data from electronic media (like hard drives, SSDs, tapes) to make it irretrievable, using Clear, Purge, and Destroy techniques, applicable across various technologies and widely adopted by government and private sectors for data security. For further information, please consult the NIST website.
  2. Physical Shredding: For assets at end-of-life or upon specific client request. All data destruction is performed within our access-controlled, monitored facility.
